Social activists meaning is a person who works to bring about political or social changes by campaigning in public or working for an organization. We are living in a society. In our Holy Quran the almighty address us human kind as “Ashraful Makhlukat” (Arabic Word) it means we are the best creature in the hole universe of others creation by our almighty. We should be grateful for that. But as a part of this eco system we need to be in peace and prosperity and for that we have to work for our society for its better development.
Social activism is an intentional action with the goal of bringing about social change. If you feel strongly about a cause and are working towards a change, you could be considered an activist. An activist is anyone who is fighting for change in society. Social action work is a way to meet the goal of social justice.
I grew in a society where I saw in my childhood a person who leaves in a same society of place love to take care of each other. But as time passing on it seems that this familiar scenes are changing and believe me its changing rapidly. I can still remember very well, often visiting our neighbor house was a regular customs for us. Commercial park or others establishment for hangout was not so popular customs for that time. The bonding that people share with each other was so strong, and for that reason people get confidence from society. But do we even think about that?

For the betterment of our local society we have to work together for it. I am doing the same. Social activists groups are the best way to do something for the society. It is much easier that way. I do the same. “Man of the Power” a local social activists group here in my place Jalalabad is playing a vital role to develop our local place. They are also working for the society children. I am working with them almost a era. Sometimes several public representatives, Government officials and other social rights activists sometime associate with us. Tree plantation, Sports, distribution of educational materials, cleaning activities are some vital work that we do.
I was a former Cadet Under Officer (CUO) of Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) and I was appointed one of the highest honor Cadet Quarter Master (CQM) on Karnaphuli Regiment in the year 2009. I was then also cadet in charge of my BNCC platoon of Omargani MES College. After my successful complication of BNCC carrier I started a forum of ex cadets of that unite. The main goal was to build a social activists groups for ex cadets through the development of mutual understandings and relations.
We are working to develop a separate wing there for social justice activists. Because I strongly believe social justice activists can play the most vital role for the society. At the end of the day we have to stand with our people in all perils. If you do not do that the society will be collapse and each one will give blame to others. Only the youth will be able to take the country forward by overcoming the social barriers of the society.
Cultural organizations can also be used for social activities. Beside social activists works to bring about political or social changes by campaigning. In our country Theater groups do that in several occasions. One the most pride example is that our war of liberation in 1971. Singers sings for our independence issue, Theater and many cultural groups plays in street to aware about their deserved life, and who they can gain it. Shomikoron Theater, Bindu Bikash Theater is two of the group that I associated with and we did street drama to aware people about the right things for our society.
My main point is that we have to build a world suitable for our future generations and for that we have to work hard and we have to work together. Please tell me about your thoughts regarding this. In this digitized century is it possible to grow a big brotherhood and a world of better understanding of human kind?
